Contracting Agreement and Terms of Service

JB Services CSRA, LLC

By contracting JB Services CSRA, LLC and remitting the initial deposit, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding your project.

1. Scope of Work, Estimates, and Change Orders

All work to be performed will be strictly outlined in the official project proposal or estimate provided via Jobber. JB Services CSRA, LLC agrees to deliver professional, code-compliant craftsmanship using high-quality materials.

Hidden Damage and Supplements: Due to the nature of restoration and remodeling, hidden issues (e.g., pre-existing water intrusion, structural deterioration, or concealed damage behind walls) may be discovered once work commences. If forensic structural assessments or tear-outs reveal necessary work outside the original scope, work will pause, and a new quote or insurance supplement will be issued. Additional work will not proceed, nor be billed, without your authorization.

2. Payment Terms

Work will not be scheduled, nor will custom materials be ordered, until the required initial deposit is received. The remaining balance will be due upon project completion or according to the milestone draw schedule outlined in your specific Jobber invoice. Final payment is due immediately upon the completion of the physical work.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Due to the time required to schedule high-end remodeling work, procure specialty materials, and turn away other clients for your scheduled block, the following cancellation policy is strictly enforced:

The 24-Hour Window: You may cancel your contract within 24 hours of remitting your initial deposit for a refund, less any applicable payment processing fees incurred during the original transaction.
Non-Refundable Deposits: Once 24 hours have passed from the time of payment, the deposit is strictly non-refundable. This covers secured schedule time and administrative processing.
Ordered and Custom Materials: Regardless of the cancellation timeline, no refunds will be issued for materials that have already been ordered. This applies specifically to custom-fabricated items, specialty orders, or any materials requiring freight or direct delivery to the homeowner's property or the contractor's address. You will assume ownership of these materials, or you will be billed for any applicable manufacturer restocking and return shipping fees if a return is possible.
Mid-Project Cancellations: If you choose to terminate the project after 24 hours and work has already begun, you will not receive a refund of the deposit. Additionally, you will be billed for any installed materials, ordered materials as outlined above, and completed labor that exceeds the value of the initial deposit.
Refund Processing Timeline: Any eligible refunds will be issued within 10 business days of the approved cancellation. Please be aware that your bank or credit card provider may not reflect the refund immediately, and it can take additional business days for the funds to post to your account.

4. Payment Reversals, Chargebacks, and Legal Penalties

By agreeing to these terms and submitting payment, you agree to resolve any disputes directly with JB Services CSRA, LLC and forfeit the right to initiate a credit card chargeback or bank payment reversal for non-refundable deposits or completed physical labor.

If a payment is reversed, stopped, or charged back—whether intentional, accidental, or due to a misunderstanding—the following actions will be taken immediately:

Statutory Fees: You will instantly be billed a $30.00 statutory service charge, plus any processing or penalty fees incurred from our payment processor.
Curing the Default: You will have ten (10) days to cure the reversed payment, including all penalty fees, using guaranteed funds (cashier's check or money order).
Collection, Liens, and Prosecution: If the balance is not cured within the 10-day window, JB Services CSRA, LLC will immediately file a Mechanic’s or Materialman's Lien against your property in accordance with the laws of the state where the property is located (South Carolina or Georgia). Furthermore, your account will be turned over to the appropriate local county authorities for the prosecution of fraudulent payments and theft of services.
Civil Action: We reserve the right to pursue full civil damages, which will include the original invoice amount, statutory fees, collection agency costs, and reasonable attorney's fees.

5. Property Rights, Media, and Liability

This section governs the ownership of materials, project documentation, and limitations of liability during the restoration process:

Material Ownership: All building materials, fixtures, and supplies delivered to the job site remain the sole property of JB Services CSRA, LLC until the final invoice is paid in full. If final payment is withheld, we retain the legal right to recover uninstalled materials.
Portfolio and Media Rights: JB Services CSRA, LLC retains the right to take "before and after" photographs and video of the work area to be used in our professional portfolio, website, or promotional materials. We will never photograph identifying personal information, addresses, or the exterior facade of your home without separate permission.
Limitation of Liability: JB Services CSRA, LLC is responsible for the quality and integrity of our installations. However, we are not liable for pre-existing structural defects, prior code violations, or pre-existing mold/moisture issues that were not specifically included in the agreed-upon scope of work. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages (such as temporary loss of use of a room) resulting from the normal progression of construction.

6. Governing Law and Venue

While property-specific enforcement (such as real estate liens) and criminal codes are governed by the state and county where the physical work is performed, the interpretation of this business agreement itself shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any civil lawsuits regarding the terms of this contract shall be filed in the appropriate courts of South Carolina.

Copyright and Media Usage Policy

1. Exclusive Ownership

All content present on this website and all associated social media platforms operated by JB Services CSRA, LLC—including but not limited to photographs, videos, project designs, logos, text, and graphics—is the exclusive intellectual property of JB Services CSRA, LLC. All rights are reserved under United States copyright law.

2. Commercial Use Restriction

We take pride in our craftsmanship and the documentation of our restoration and remodeling projects. You may not copy, reproduce, download, distribute, publish, display, or otherwise use any photographs, videos, or other content from our platforms for commercial purposes, business marketing, or any form of direct or indirect financial gain without prior explicit, written permission from an authorized representative of JB Services CSRA, LLC.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Other contractors or businesses using our project photos to represent their own work.
Vendors or manufacturers using our media for promotional materials without an active licensing agreement.
Media outlets or digital publishers monetizing our content without consent.

3. Personal and Social Media Sharing

We welcome our clients and community to share our work for personal, non-commercial purposes (such as sharing a post to your personal social media feed or saving an image for personal design inspiration), provided that JB Services CSRA, LLC is clearly credited and, where applicable, a direct link or tag to our original profile/website is included. You may not alter, crop out watermarks, or misrepresent the origin of the content.

4. Unauthorized Use and Enforcement

Unauthorized commercial use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited. JB Services CSRA, LLC actively monitors for copyright infringement and will take immediate action against unauthorized use. This may include issuing Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices, sending cease-and-desist letters, and pursuing legal action to recover damages for copyright infringement.

5. Requesting Permission

If you are a vendor, media outlet, or business interested in licensing our photographs or using our content for commercial purposes, you must obtain written consent before publication.
